Using Labels to Organize Watchlist

Labels are identifiers that you can use to categorize your monitors. You can associate a monitor with one or more labels. This becomes especially useful when you have lots of monitors and you need to organize them into different categories for quicker access. You can view all monitors under a specific label in just one click from your Watchlist.

How to use labels?

To use labels, you first need to create new label names. Once you create labels, you will see them in the dropdown menu of the label icon.

Steps to create labels and add to monitors

Step 1: Click on Add Label from your Watchlist. This will open a Label window.

Step 2: Add the label name in the highlighted box in the Label window and click Save.

Once you add a label, it will appear in your Watchlist as shown below:

Step 3: Use the checkbox to select monitors that you want to categorize, then select the desired label from the label menu as shown below:

The label menu shows all available labels with checkboxes. To manage labels for selected monitors:

  • To add a label: Check the checkbox next to the label name.
  • To remove a label: Uncheck the checkbox next to the label name.
  • Click Apply to save your changes

This allows you to easily add or remove multiple labels from selected monitors using the same interface.

Accessing labeled monitors

Distill will categorize the monitor under your selected label. You can access all monitors under a particular label by simply clicking on the label.
