FAQ

Why didn’t I receive an audio alert?

Audio alerts play only when Distill detects an actual change on the monitored page. If you did not hear a sound, check the following:

  • Check the monitor’s device Open your Watchlist and make sure the audio action is configured for a local monitor. Audio notifications will not play for cloud-based monitors.

  • Review the check log
Open your Watchlist and view the check log to confirm that checks are running successfully.
Missing timestamps or error entries indicate the monitor may not be running, which prevents audio alerts.

  • Verify global audio settings
Ensure Enable audio notification is turned on in Settings → Actions.
If this option is disabled, audio alerts will not play—even if individual monitors have audio actions configured.
